The Chrome extension, for the part that needs a browser.
THCOS builds a video on the server, and that part continues whether or not you are at your computer. Turning a finished build into a playable file happens in a browser, so a video can be completely ready and still be waiting for a tab.
That is an unusual thing to ask of anyone, and the only fair response is to say it plainly and in advance. The extension is that warning, and a shortcut to the workspace it belongs to.
A badge, and one notification
The toolbar shows how many videos are waiting, checked every five minutes. You get a notification when that number rises — not a repeat every five minutes, because a reminder you learn to ignore is worth nothing on the day it matters.
Your workspaces, one click away
The panel lists them with an amber dot on the ones that have work waiting, those sorted to the top, and a button to start a new one. Every reading carries its age, and that label is also the refresh button.
It cannot read your pages
There are no content scripts, so it cannot see or alter any site you visit. No analytics, no telemetry, no third-party requests and no remote code — it talks to one origin, with the session you already have there.
What it will not claim
If a check fails it stays silent rather than showing a reassuring result it cannot back up. It cannot help while Chrome is closed either, and it says so — what it closes is the gap where Chrome is open and no tab is.
